It is with great pleasure that I am writing this email to express my sincerest Thank You to your company. Superior Tool and Die Co. in these ever changing times in manufacturing where we are constantly trying to deliver NPI products to market sooner, we, Caterpillar, have to rely heavily on our business partners. Without a great support team we cannot continue to deliver the superior results that we have been able to attain in the latest NPI programs that I manage. The 988K T4F NPI program was and is a critical market driver for Caterpillar Aurora and Caterpillar Inc. The volume that this one product delivers is again, crucial to our business and we could not afford to miss one minute of production.
With partners like Superior Tool we are able to meet these demanding timelines on NPI. I am proud to have a partner like Superior Tool involved in my projects as I know I can count on quality products at competitive prices and a level of support second to none. When I needed help with implementing and resolving issues on the new systems on our shop floor, Superior was there. This support does not go unnoticed or unappreciated by Caterpillar or myself.
You have a great company representative in Roy Hershberger as he was there representing your company when Caterpillar needed support. He went above and beyond the scope of work by helping implement the tooling produced by Superior and also helped Caterpillar troubleshoot a system not supplied by your company which kept my program on track. I do not know many other companies or people that I could count on for that level of support. I do know I can count on Superior when I need them and they will always be at the top of my list for builds on future projects that I am involved with. I look forward to our next project!

Because of Erik's increasing work load in sales and traveling. I have filled in for him the last several weeks with sales calls to the Caterpillar Aurora plant. I've heard some great comments from several people about the teamwork you and Erik are doing together to give our customer great quality, on-time delivery and your personal efforts in seeing the customer's needs are satisfied, even helping with some of your competitors and the tool rooms build problems.
With the obvious way you are steering Superior Tool in making your customers needs your #1 priority I can only see a great future for you and your company. It's clear that your father taught you well and I know he would be proud of the way you are running the family business. We know that todays business world is very tough and competitive, but I think your efforts are setting yourself and Superior apart from your competition. I would like to encourage you to stay focused and to keep up the good work.
